Grassroots Carbon, a leading soil carbon solutions company focused on regenerating  America’s grasslands, is pleased to announce the appointment of Bo Meissner as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). With more than 30 years of financial leadership experience across public and private companies, Bo brings a strong track record of driving growth, improving financial performance, and leading complex business transformations. Most recently, he served as CFO of Vital Farms (Nasdaq: VITL) , where he oversaw a period of significant revenue and EBITDA growth and helped the company navigate the transition from a private to a public company.

Bo joins the executive team at a key moment of momentum for the company and will lead financial strategy, capital deployment, and business operations to help scale Grassroots Carbon’s platform supporting land stewards and enterprise partners. 

Bo joins forces with CEO Brad Tipper, an experienced entrepreneur and purpose-driven operator with a proven track record of building and scaling category defining businesses . Brad’s leadership has helped establish Grassroots Carbon as the trusted partner for both ranchers and corporations looking for scalable, science-backed, carbon removal solutions rooted in nature positive outcomes and ecosystem restoration.
