Regenerative grazing restores soil and brings water back to the land.
At Roam Ranch, years of conventional management had degraded the soil so severely that a historic creek bed had disappeared.
Taylor and Katie Collins made a commitment to implement regenerative grazing practices designed to rebuild soil structure, deepen root systems, and increase water infiltration. Within just a few years, the transformation was remarkable. The creek’s headwaters began to flow again, with rainwater that once ran off compacted ground now soaking into living, healthy soils that recharge aquifers and revive the creek.
Today, that flowing creek sustains not just the ranch, but downstream habitats and neighboring lands, showing how soil health and water security are inseparable.
This is the promise of regenerative ranching: measurable, lasting change that strengthens both ecosystems and communities. Grassroots Carbon is proud to partner with exceptional ranchers like Taylor and Katie.
